What difference does it make?

Why is suicide treated with such shame, silence and stigma? I have no one. No. One. Not even a cat or dog. No one will notice if I disappear. I'm just so very tired. Too exhausted to carry on

suicide shouldn't be treated this way, i completely emphathize. if there is anyone, a parent, a sibling, a coworker, a friend, you should talk to them. they're there for you. even the crisis line, believe it or not, i've been there and it's better than making a decision you won't ever be able to turn back on. think of the fact that you're thinking, how marvelous it is to see, smell, touch, taste, feel, and have the capacity to dream. life is unreal. it is wonderful and it is worth living even if it is terrible right now, and i say that as someone who's life is going terribly right now, too. we can do this.

I've had shitty days

But, occasionally, a good one eclipses all the shit ones.

from your imperfections. You are exactly the same after death as you were before. Nothing changes; you only give up the body. If you are a thief or a liar or a cheater before death, you don't become an angel merely by dying ... Whatever you have made of yourself thus far ... you will bring that same nature with you. To change, you have to make the effort. This world is the place to do it." -- Yogananda

You would be surprised at how many people want you in their lives. I know the loneliness feeling, and I've felt suicidal many times but I truly feel like shit can always get better.. if you really feel like you could kill yourself then why not make life truly worth living... And do it just for yourself..whatever you dream... What brings you happiness etc., this is YOUR world. Make the time you have left count . As lots of people don't have that second chance at life.
Youre meant to be here friend .

Try to take it one day at a time and find a little joy somewhere along the way.

No difference unless you start to live different

You don't like your life today but you chose what it would be yesterday. You don't like your life tomorrow but you're choosing what it will be today. Perhaps you should just try a new routine instead of jumping to extremes.

Every life matters. As I read your confession, I felt your message deeply. You may feel alone, but YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Sometimes just talking it out helps. I looked up the BC crisis line when I read this. Please call. 1-800-784-2433.

I noticed that you mentioned a cat or dog. I have a dog and believe me, his devotion, innocence and crazy happiness keep me going on bad days. Maybe your subconscious is helping you find a solution!? What would you name your pet?

Please don’t…

It’s easy to feel alone & isolated & as though you can’t take another day. I’ve had friends of friends commit suicide & have cried at the loss. People I barely knew, had only met socially & briefly. You’d be surprised by how many people care.

Ending it for most is about escaping the pain.
However news of your departure from this world will leave many with deep pain.
“You might not mean much to the world (from your perspective). But you mean the world to someone.”
Hold fast & fight hard till the light returns.
Think of those you will leave behind & find one to live for!
