Covid Bubbles

Trying really hard to maintain my boundaries around bubbles without offending my friends, but it's very hard. People have massive bubbles and/or don't pay attention to news, then get offended when you can't come over.

Bubble means something different to everyone. Better just to take walks, wear masks when inside. Now is not the time of year to leave people on their own.
Yeah.

The reason we have variants is because people aren’t vaccinated. It’s pretty stupid.
Don't you realize

Just how sexy that little bubble of yours is? Hella sexy.
@Yeah.

Agreed - and also because the rich first-world countries aren't sharing vaccines with other poorer countries in a co-ordinated way that would enable them to also get their citizens vaccinated. I feel guilty about getting a third shot when many in the world haven't had one, but will do it because that's what's being asked of me.

Good friends would understand, you are right to keep your distance. Now we have a new variant that is running rampant. Just wish the prov govt would get their shit together and hand out free rapid testing kits they are hoarding, would help us all immensely.

True that; I've suggested outdoor gatherings but this person is not open so it make it hard to support them. Their bubble is huge; their son is going to college parties pretty regularly & I see my ailing mother next week. Her health & safety is nobody else's call but mine/ours.
Justin time for the holidays

Well what do you know, even the news is beginning to smarten up, it might be incumbent upon you to as well. You can't always look up to doctors like Tony Fauci lol. Time for Plan E.
