If Covid gets really,

Really zombie apocalyptic, I may just blow all my money on a big party and get it and then die. It’s inevitable and hiding out all the time is no way to live!!

allows others who aren't ready to die, to live. Such as someone with dependents. Plus , no guarantee you'll die, maybe just feel wretched for a long time.

Yes me and my bubble will be turning sometime after 3 like werewolves at the full moon. It's part of the subscription, we knew it was coming. It's ok though we got bracelets and doughnuts.

Push for rapid test kits instead of taking the chance. You will instantly regret getting sick if you end up in the ICU.

Some of us introverts are quite fine at home with our books, movies, music, and gaming.

Sure, but the odds of dying aren't that great.
It's not the Black Death. Now that was a Plague!

It's true what they say about Gen-X, we were built for this sh#t. It paid off being a latch key kid, after all. It's the spoiled Boomers in my life who have gotten to do pretty much everything they wanted to do, and act like they've been thrown into a prison cell for a year. They're flipping out. They've had to cancel their cruises and trips to Mexico. Poor things… I do feel for the younger generations, these are the best years of their lives, and they're spending locked away.
Here comes the 4th wave, or is it the 5th? Whatever…

Think a little plz- you deride the "boomers" for worrying about having a good time etc.
You have to realize that to hunker down and not live life for 2 years, means that is 20% to maybe 40% of what life they have left is gone.
You as a Gen X maybe have 40+ years left, and that may represent 4-5% of your time left.
Huge difference in wasted time.

Come on now, Boomers have already had a pretty good run. A middle class boomer today has the lifestyle of a multi-millionaire in the 1950s, and it's hard to believe with all the drama going on today, but the last decade has seen the longest economic bull run in history. Property prices are through the roof and markets are on fire. It's been excellent for you if you are middle class or better. Not all baby boomers are killing it, I can acknowledge that, but like I said, if you are middle class or better congratulations. You have what no other generations have had in history. So I'm sorry if I'm not feeling the existential anxiety you are feeling sitting around and watching Netflix or Zoom with your friends or grandchildren for a couple of years or maybe walk around the seawall with a mask on, then swing by the food truck for a tasty snack. Oh, the hardship of the middle class boomer in Vancouver.
