Sometimes

More often than not, I’ve become a lot more angrier now than I was when I was younger. Things tend to bother me a lot and I rarely smile as much these days. I honestly don’t know what smiling is nowadays. Soda help me cope I just eat marijuana gummy‘s. On one hand they make me feel relaxed, zoned out and help me with sex. But once the highway wears off and leaves my body for good, I end up feeling irritable. My head feels hung over and I tend to get really cranky. When I get irritable, I need lots of time to myself. A lot, and I don’t want to see or talk to anybody. Then superimposed on top of that, I have Autism.

An excellent martial arts class would go far toward finding a cure to your issues.

People need to move their bodies. The modern world makes people live lives of terrible indolence that causes the mind to back up and the results are horrible.

Whenever...

... I feel bad I just remember that we live in a world that's being under threat for some time. I go in I read Martin Luther's on the elves and their lies and I realize we've been in this situation a long time. There isn't much for some of us to smile about. The elves think that we exist only to serve them and the the world is their house and they get to repair it however they want. It's no wonder that most people understood that elves are dangerous creatures. That's why they always tell me it's about elves attacking humans and humans having to get rid of the elves and make them go live in the forest

Can relate

I agree with your confession and totally understand where you’re coming from. As someone who was also born with Asperger‘s I want to share some insight from one Aspie to another. Even if you do have Autism, don’t let it define you. Your condition is not the real you. It’s only an aspect of you. The best thing to do is just keep on living your life as always. Sure, we are living in very dangerous times where Covid has really fucked up a lot of things, and here comes Dr. Henry claiming that we can’t even go to a gym to get our exercise all because of some new variant. A bit of wishful thinking on my part but let’s hope that 2022 will be a much better year than this one. Keep your chin up and seek the glass half full. Actually, see the glass filled all the way to the top with your favourite drink.

Stop relying on a substance to change your state of mind. Exercise will do wonders. You’re irritable because you’re having withdrawal symptoms. Cut that out and replace it with adrenaline. You’ll be much more well adjusted after a month or two.

Gen X is supposedly 1961 to 1981, so they're ALL middle aged.

@Quit
Fuck your anti-drug mindset. If a cognizant adult wants to use a non-physically addictive, EXTREMELY beneficial/useful plant to ease his emotions/pain/etc, that's his right/choice. "But it's psychologically addictive" you say? People can become psychologically addicted to ANYTHING (weed, coffee, sex, chocolate, etc) to fill the void. It's not the plant causing it.

There are NO withdrawal symptoms from using cannabis. You can have a similar effect to a hangover but only if you really overdo it.

Listen, and listen good cannabis has been proven time and again, in non-American thus propagandic studies, is completely Non addictive!!!

I have used cannabis since I was a teen and have gone to the states for weeks and weeks without using (because I don't want to spend 50 years in jail for a joint) and been with people whom expected me to have withdrawal, then, when I return they realize that they'd totally forgotten that I use it (no withdrawal at all, no mood changes Nada) in fact forgetfulness is another false trait attributed to cannabis use. My memory is often commented on as being excellent, reliable and totally accurate. Most people say cannabis users have no short term memory and I find the people I know who use cannabis have far better memories than non-users.

TRUTH.

Stop spreading bullshit ahole

I agree! Pot can cause irritable feelings and depersonalization. It's not as benign as many people believe. I dated a pothead when I was younger and he was the most miserable guy if he couldn't get his weed.

I can see that you are irritable and angry, and there's definitely a lot to be angry about these days so you're not alone in that. I don't think that commenter was sitting in judgment of you. I think he's a kind soul that tried to provide words of wisdom from the heart to share what worked for him. Rushing to labels of "anti" this or "anti" that, I'm sorry but life doesn't work that way, it only leads to polarization and divisiveness. You can still choose to use it or not, to each their own, but is it working for you? You said yourself something needs to change. I don't have experience with either so I'm not sure how it might affect the mood negatively, who knows, to each their own, what works for them might not be best for you. It's a struggle making a change but usually we have an intuition about what it is making us miserable, whether it's a person/people, a living environment, a job, a diet, a lifestyle change. Personally the things that have usually brought up an emotional reaction was the 'you are here' starting point on the map. I hope you see some better days, you deserve to smile and laugh.
