I lived in the West End. There were some interesting individuals who splashed color on the surroundings but it was really the city that captured my heart. When I look at the exterior shots on "Robson Arms", it takes me right back and returns me to a magical time and place, an old friend. I think really I just miss my friend

The West End is/is the only highlight of Vancouver, did I ever regret moving to East Van back in the day. If you're going to live in a city, live IN the city or leave. Riding or driving is drag, walking to all your favourite haunts is how it's done. I hate owning a car.

But they have left bits of truth in their so-called Good Book ... "Woe be to those who crowd up like living in an ants nest." - Isaiah 5:8 (the More Real Version)

I miss the whole thing

Everything about this city has changed for the worse over that time. It’s just what happens when too many people live in a space. Overcrowding is the downfall of everyone and everything.

you miss drinking with your buddies who are long gone due to alcoholism or miss crying in your beer? You’re old and you need to move on, maybe go to the gym and burn off that beer belly?

Remember that guy who used to wear brightly coloured suits with matching coloured pointy hair and beard?

The West End is one my favourite places to visit. Only thing is that there’s been stories on the local news about assaults happening there. As long as Kennedy Stewart is still Mayor, it won’t be very safe.
