Trapped by crippling depression, insecurities, poverty, obesity. I'm never escaping this suburban concrete hell.

Most of those four things wouldn't exist without involuntary psychiatric torture, in my case.

Overwhelming yes it seems.
Try to focus on the easiest thing first. That might be obesity. If you can lose just a few pounds that can do wonders.

Sucks.
But look if it makes you feel any better, ain’t none of us escaping. We’re stuck until not very long from now when we croak.
I say, if nothing matters, then have as much fun with it as you can reasonably manage

sometimes i imagine my dream woman got fat and then got 'stuck'. In the dryer, elevator, under the bed, i don't know. Good thing I would be around to help her out...

Maybe escaping this concrete hell and into some nature for a month or two with only some greens and protein powder drinks is exactly what you need need to do, but once the weather gets a bit warmer.

Wrong. Studies actually show that poor people are more likely to be obese for a couple reasons, one being that grocery stores in lower-income areas tend not to carry fresh produce and another being that produce can be more expensive than other items that have higher calories.
