I haven’t left my apartment in two weeks. And I don’t feel sad about it at all. I consider how amazing it all is living in the world today. Groceries delivered to my door that I ordered online. Fruit from South America, medication from across the continent, vegetables from down the coast, books from around the globe. Technology connects me to the world and I can even wash my clothes and cook food with the press of a button. It’s incredible. And yet I turn the blinds on my window to temper the sun. I feel like an addict telling myself that I can go outside any time, to quit sequestering, but I seem to lack the inspiration or need to leave. I feel like an emperor in an unknown forbidden realm where no one comes in or out.

It's beautiful outside for the first time in a half a f#cking year, can you believe that? What a supernatural paradise… It's time to step out, just ignore people, go incognito, wear a mask and sunglasses, you won't regret it, fresh air, leafs, and flowers.

Us humans are social creatures not solitary. Some creatures like mountain lions and many bird species are solitary and only come briefly once a year to mate then spend the rest of the year in isolation. But us humans will prematurely wither and die without family, friends and tribe. But hey ! You can always buy one of those new sex robots on amazwrong ... OUCH ... CREEPY !

You have become a recluse in your own reality.
I'm not saying to change but life is too short to be stuck in your own Apartment as lucky as that is in Vancouver.
Time is of the Essence!
Your here confessing so you know it's time to try again.

This is why the planet is slowly disintegrating, all in the name of convenience. Your muscles will atrophy but robots will attend your needs while cargo ships and delivery drivers zip all over the place, sucking up resources. walk to the fucking grocery store already!

Safe. But boring.
I leave my place everyday for air, exercise, greenery. I hope you find something outside your place to motivate you out.

Home is only boring

if you don't have indoor hobbies.

Books, movies, games, music, writing, creating, cooking, baking, getting baked.
I'm never bored at home.... but sometimes get immobilized by the sheer number of choices of books, movies, games, music, etc.
