no longer my problem

My former industry is crying for experienced people like myself but I have no sympathy after all the inventive ways they came up with to take advantage of me since the 2008 recession.

Tell me more about the "inventive ways", I find myself intrigued.

I don't feel for the service industry, especially in the kitchens in this city. Underpaid, overworked, poorly trained in management, so some sociopath bully will get away with everything short of assault. It's a freaking nightmare that can never correct itself, because so much of it is cultural. Bye, j’y vais, you're on your own.

I googled “how to rate a company” because I’m looking for another job. There was a list describing things to look for that describe a good employer. The company I worked for failed on every single item on the list! I mean, ALL of them. So now I realize that unless I want to be repeatedly dissatisfied with the company I work for I’m going to have to really do my research and be a lot pickier about where I choose to work. Gone are the days when I’d think I had to take whatever was offered. They’re going to have to impress me too, because I’m a good employee and they’ll need to treat me right if they want to get the skills I have to offer.

To cook your own food and drink at home you can make the atmosphere as you wish and don't havecto wonder if they spit in your food
