Leaderless

Anyone who has a job right now knows it's tough. Managers are leaving. Long time employees are leaving. Gas and inflation are volatile and making a difference in people's choices. The "we're all in this together" of 2020 is long gone. I look to the premier of this province as a prime example. He has retired, but will spend the next 6 months "not quite retired, but not quite doing anything" soapboxing and retrospecting is political career. What we need right now is leaders not people half in half out. I guarantee the CEO's of things like the ferries, the passport offices, and anyone we rely on right now will bail out sometime during the time when we need them most.

Moving to a resource based economy from a hierarchical economy.
The old way of doing things is over, institutions are facing the new reality that autocratic ways of doing things is over and they don't know how to adjust.
Bullying employees won't work there is too much choice out there so there is a collective shift going on right now.
Hang on folks it's gonna be a bumpy ride!

Is there ever a good time? Regardless change must and will occur. The opportunity is knowing it will happen eventually and to prepare accordingly. Nothing is ever perfect but the show will continue while the audience looks on. Let’s hope there are understudies who are well versed and prepared to step into their places when the time comes.
WTF!

I'm not anti-capitalist, but we're certainly seeing its flaws. I don't understand why things are so out of kilter. Things are a mess, price gouging, inflation, jobs no one will do for the wages, I thought the market was supposed to solve all of this? Explain it to me like I'm five.

To your first sentence, nothing has changed for myself nor anyone I know- and I'd bet for almost everyone else.

Skies are sunny
Bees make honey
Who needs money
No one but me.
I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do
So I'll leave it up to you
Is this a confession?
