I can only tell you what you won't get...

I asked a woman out awhile ago,she said no. No problem.but as is often the case, later on she's super friendly and trying to get me attention and when I saw her again recently I could tell she wanted me to ask her out again. When a woman plays hard to get the only thing I'm sure of is she won't ever get me.

Maybe she didn't want there to be hard feelings, so was acting nice? But believe what you want to believe man.

At least you asked and at least she was friendly. If I don't ask a guy out I still get the passive aggressive entitled attitude but with emotionally manipulative jabs. Weirdly enough they think after their entitled attitude I'm desperate to get a chance to ask them out & date them. I'm with you on not asking but I probably wouldn't write a passive aggressive post either. I prefer them to slink away like the cowards they are never to be heard from again.

@Op, people change their mind you know, or circumstances change…it’s not all a wicked game.

You probably wouldn't write a passive aggressive post? I mean, reread your post. You sound like you REALLY aren't over *something*...

I've lived similar. She might have no interest in you (particularly), but she wants someone to want her. Unfortunately as a first time recipient of this hot/cold game I built up a strong attachment. Lucky you, that it doesn't sound like she's got you deep yet.

How can you possibly know?

It’s astounding to me how frequently people make massive assumptions about other people’s motivation. Op, you have absolutely ZERO clue about why she said no the first time. Maybe she was still seeing someone else. Maybe she wasn’t sure. Maybe she was surprised and / or shy. You don’t know! So instead of assuming, perhaps you might try asking her? Or, I don’t know, stop being so reactive and defensive and just think of her as being another human being with all kinds of other things going on in her life. Jesus people are butt hurt these days! So quick to jump into protective mode. Not everyone is out to get you ffs! SMH.

It was all about validation and a good feeling, that guys may still find her attractive.

"but I probably wouldn't write a passive aggressive post either"

But you just did.

Some people use dates as a way to get to know someone

Aug 30, 2022 at 8:38pm

Some people prefer to know someone before they go out on a date.
So if someone asks before we know each other, I'll say no.
It's not playing hard to get. It's wanting to know before we go
out on a date.

Telling somebody they're displaying passive aggressiveness ie writing a post saying rejection was no problem when it's plain as day it is a problem isn't passive aggressive unless you enjoy playing games. It's simply stating the obvious.
