I hate being

a human. I hate this seething cess pool of debauchery, chaos, unkindness, filth and pollution. I hate how cruel people are to each other. I don’t want to be part of this anymore. What is the point of having material things when money can’t change the fact that everyone is so mean and petty and in the end it’s all meaningless?

You’re not wrong. There is no plan for us. We evolved from amino acids, with heat and time. You’ve no special destiny. There is no meaning…

…except what you choose to value. There are rules of physics, and laws that should be obeyed, common sense limits. But other than that, YOU ARE FREE.

You can be yourself.

Did you see true detective season one? This monologue by Rust Cohle was inspired by the philosophy of David Benatar.

"I think human consciousness, is a tragic misstep in evolution. We became too self-aware, nature created an aspect of nature separate from itself, we are creatures that should not exist by natural law. We are things that labor under the illusion of having a self; an accretion of sensory, experience and feeling, programmed with total assurance that we are each somebody, when in fact everybody is nobody. Maybe the honorable thing for our species to do is deny our programming, stop reproducing, walk hand in hand into extinction, one last midnight, brothers and sisters opting out of a raw deal."

I found it to be quite chilling. A brilliantly written TV series.

Of the type of person you are- glorifying and magnifying what is negative in a small percentage of the population.

"Everyone" is the key word.....

Personally I like human consciousness, and exploring the relationship between the world and my self.

Not a huge fan of ego dissolution rhetoric; it usually ends up as a means of control rather than a path to enlightenment.

There is

Hope. And you have to believe in it. So much of life if ugly.

But the beautiful moments are why we are here. I feel the same way sometimes…then I remember being at my lowest and the people who had nothing and picked me up. These are miracles. I promise you there is beauty here. Fight for it. And you know what? Even your post of sadness moves me to believe in it. Your understanding of pain can bring you up.

Why do you look so sad?

It's because you're only interested in being the negativity you are.

You need to! control your anger.

People who say things like 'control your anger' or 'lighten up' are equally hypocritical. The former are projecting their own fears own the latter, who themselves wish they could be nicer people but fear not fitting in, so instead project onto society. You need some Jordan Peterson.

You need to get out of Metro Vancouver. You are right, it has become a cesspool.

Change your scenery. Move to a very small city, or a small town.
