The coldest winter I ever spent was a winter in Vancouver

This is too much, how much more rain can I take? I can't take it for 3more weeks let alone 3 months. It feels like a year, what do I do?

And you're just figuring out that Vancouver is quite rainy during the winter? Stop complaining, there are people in the world far worse off than you. I'm so tired of people bitching about the weather here. If you don't like it,leave.

It’s obvious

If you hate it that much then obviously you should leave. It’s not rocket science.

Embrace it

Love the green, the lush, lush green. Without rain, Vancouver would look like Calgary. Sorry, Calgarians, it's true.

I love the rain so much :3

Especially when it's warmer and rainy. I tend to wilt and even become depressed if it's sunny for more than a few days in a row without rain, it just feels relentless and barren sometimes here, especially in the city where the the sunlight seems to amplify its dystopian qualities for whatever reason.

Rainfall immediately fosters a sense of increased peace, calm and lushness in me -- even if that happens inside a background of suffering.

Someone's clearly depressed, and they're attacked, Vancouver can be a cold, cold city in attitudes, also.

Rain tips

- Get some high quality waterproof rain boots. Go on epic walks and hikes, slamming through the muddy puddles and flowing currents of rainwater, get mucky like a kid. Return home with a giant smile on your face!
- Outfit your bike with some decent fenders. Go trail riding in Pacific Spirit Park or Stanley Park where the trees will provide a little cover. Breathe the forest air. Take a thermos with a hot drink. Stop and stare at hundreds of trees towering above you.

I'm a bikini and flip flops type of person, but you can still definitely enjoy being outside even when it's grey, rainy, and windy. Take thee outside with the proper gear, you'll feel better in an hour!
