My coworker is one of those braggart people who are always trying to impress everyone. He talks about his university degree and the job he used to have, and wants us all to think he’s really smart. But he’s also one of those people who uses big words incorrectly. He mispronounces words all the time and uses them in the wrong places. Sometimes the words he uses don’t actually exist in the dictionary. It’s actually hilarious and reminds me of some really funny skits on SNL or other shows. It’s so hard not to burst out laughing because in my mind I’m seeing the skits, but I have to nod seriously and keep a straight face.

2:54 a.m. This person is keeping you up at night. Do I sense an enemies to lovers narrative arc? You can test drive his big words dirty talk and get off on telling him he’s doing it wrong.

Why can't you laugh and correct the person in a nice but funny way.
Some people need to be taken off the pedistal they think they are on and if you can't laugh at yourself then you are taking
life way to seriously.
And think your shit don't stink.
How annoying !

Maybe he's a fraud? He wouldn't be the first person to BS themselves into a job. In the U.S. you can become President, a member of the Senate or a billionaire tech bro. If he's overcompensating like he is, maybe he faked his credentials?
I had a friend that did a background check on a younger manager that what constantly talking down to him. He couldn't stand this snot faced kid, acting like he was Larry Page, it turned out he didn't really have a degree from a university, and he was fired. Problem solved.

I know what you're trying to say.

You know people that constantly brag are compensating for a lack of something.
Maybe whats downstairs or whatever !
Trying so hard to feel more important than they really are or to validate themselves.
When people start bragging everyone around you in their minds is thinking,
OH SHUT THE FUCK UP and really thinks less of you.
It's true !

let me guess, he went to UBC?
anyone can get a university degree these days (and most people do have one), but going into lifelong debt to earn a piece of paper just for listening to self- absorbed past-their-prime professors lecture for hundreds of hours about something you could easily learn online for free (in a matter of minutes) may actually not be a hallmark of intelligence.

Some people get home from work at this time of day. I would immediately tune into Brave New Waves. I still miss it. OT on the afternoon shift I don't miss at all.

Haha, nice one. But it sounds like he could also be that new congressman, George Santos.
