If you want to end suffering on this planet, don't have a child. Because suffering is inevitable, some people believe it's immoral to bring a child into this world. You may disagree with that, but there is some selfishness when bringing a child into the world, because parents are looking to make their lives more fulfilling. That's why parents have children. One day they just need more than jobs and consumerism, and choose to have a child not asking themselves if they're even qualified to do the job, never mind what the future of humanity entails.
