You’re imagining things. Not everyone smoked back then and we didn’t all smell like booze. I’m not sure why you assume that, especially since you obviously weren’t there.

The bars were full of cigarette smoke and many people spent most of their day there drinking and spilling cheap draft beer. The stench coming off your clothes in the morning was phenomenal.

Maybe they popped a tic tac in their mouths or sprayed some sexy air du toliet on . Bahahaha

No they didn’t! You’re assuming that everyone spent all their time hanging out in bars and smoking. Some of us did other things. Yes, up until the late 90’s the bars were full of smoke and every time you went to one you needed a shower when you left. But not much has changed other than the smoke smell because people still need a shower after spending an evening hanging out in a club. Maybe instead of imagining things you might talk to people who were actually there, and who didn’t spend all of their time smoking and drinking!
