Women complain about the men, men complain about the women, gee, maybe everyone is lame in Vancouver?

Vancouver woman are totally unapproachable and maybe it's because they had a couple of bad dates so they seek revenge on every man they can. Vancouver is a city of emotionally stunted children.

Is so generic that it looks like it's been copied from another confession before.....or call it a rant...a made up one

You actually expect to find a "quality" man from some dial-a-dude dating site? Good way to snag yourself a serial killer and never be heard from again. Why don't you go find a guy washing up his clothes at a laundromat? At least you'll know that they will have at least the two qualities of personal hygiene and some responsibility going for them.

Every person who is single says this same tired old trope, no matter where they are in the world, so let's not blame your location.
You didn't catch someone when you were young so welcome to the leftover pool of choices. Where are the good-looking ones? They got married to women who didn't waste time with unrealistic expectations expecting the impossible when they failed to measure up. If you aren't a catch, you shouldn't have held out for one, which is what brought you to where you are. You also sound both high-maintenance and unpleasant, which may be how you were ghosted.
Work on you instead of your excuses & complaints.

The "best" people have a tendency to pair themselves up young.

Many people also think that they are allowed to piss away their youth, then when youth is fading fast they suddenly develop "standards" and expect to have a 40 item long list filled before accepting anyone for a 2nd date etc.

I recall an interview with the female owner of one of Vancouver's top dating services about 4 years ago.
She stated unequivocally that her biggest problem was in women's insanely high standards, and convincing them that the men they seek do not exist.

Other than that, I know plenty of great guys who- if I had a sister- I would be happy to have them marry her.

Just kidding. I’m not going to quote a bunch of stats like the guys on here tend to do as they try to bolster their argument for why women shouldn’t have standards. We’re supposed to just take whatever is offered and be happy with it or , horror of horrors, we’ll be single forever! But realistically it’s the women who tend to be the ones divorcing the guys because they realize that they’re actually better off alone. As far as the dating scene goes, nothing’s really changed as far as male behaviour from what I’ve seen in my 7 decades of life. They’re still looking for a woman who looks like a goddess but takes care of them like a mother. The biggest difference now is that they also expect that woman to pay at least half of everything as well as do the majority of the domestic / child care tasks. What a deal! So yeah, marriage or live-in relationships aren’t really a good deal for women so maybe just learn to enjoy your own company and have casual relationships with the guys.
