Sex is good for your health, as long as you play it safe.

Said the egg to the chicken. But seriously isn't it more life affirming to say something like: "I just made love with a wonderful woman?" And the reason I know the OP is most likely a guy is because most women have a higher consciousness than to speak so crassly about the sex act.

That must have been really wonderful

I'm in my mid thirties and have never had the opportunity to have any actual sex in my entire life. I'm not exactly... bothered by it to any extreme, I just find it sad, lonely, stifling and limiting. Endless forced psychiatric chemical torture since childhood with no real way out and no help from anyone will do that to a person, though.

Regarding the OP - I'm curious, was it with someone really wonderful? Was it mutually orgasmic? Are they a person that deeply resonates in most or all the right ways? Is there a future to the relationship? And I don't actually mean to be morose sounding with this one, but when you're both skeletons in the graveyard, will it have mattered?

Oh please. As if all women just want hearts and flowers and gentle caresses. It might come as a shock but guess what? Women like good raunchy animal-like sex too. Sometimes we actually ONLY want that in fact. Sometimes we’re not looking for anything else.

Our sexuality is a beautiful part of life. Actually its a necessary part of the life process otherwise you and me wouldn't even be here and having this reasoning. BUT, not to quibble about language words, does S&M mentality help us grow and evolve into the better place ? I don't think so.

Who said anything about S&M? Just because people enjoy raunchy sex doesn’t mean they’re tying each other up or whatever. But even if they are, that’s entirely up to them if they’re both consenting adults. Who are you to decide for anyone else what’s sexually acceptable? Not only that, who says sex has to help us grow and evolve to a better place? Sex can be purely physical and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that as long as both parties are happy. I think that especially women have been conditioned to think that it’s got to be gentle and soft when in reality most of us enjoy something a little more robust. It’s alright to acknowledge that we like the physical act of sex! We are animals after all and it’s part of our normal physiological needs.

Part of our needs?

You forget there are lots of people who don’t need it because they are asexual. There is nothing wrong with us same as there is nothing wrong with being gay or bi or trans. Just don’t assume everybody is a sexual being.
