Have had the same thing happen to me a few times. Fought all and won of course.
The remedy would be for all of us to take these slumparkinglords to court with class action or individually filed lawsuits. I would personally bill out for all the wasted time I spent with these dorks. Have you gone through their process on their website? Meant to make it difficult to appeal a ticket and I had to follow up more than once. You nailed it. SCAM.

Legal, that is. In fact, I’ve learned that with these private parking companies most of them are running a scam constantly. They’re on the same level as those loan shark payday loan places. Just refuse to pay it. If you ignore it for long enough they just give up. Don’t answer their calls and don’t fall for their threats, because they know damned well that they don’t stand a chance in court, and taking you to court would cost them more than it’s worth.

I got a refund on my taxes last year, and within 24 hours I had a reassessment of a different year that said I owed twice as much as my refund. I had an accountant so they kept fighting the assessments and getting me money back. CRA did this 5 times in 1 year. CRA's algorithm was wrong 5 straight times. The phone agents were hard to access and not helpful. Without the accountant I would have owed literally thousands for which I shouldn't have in the first place.

With all the scams they pull on people, I’m surprised this joke of a company is still in business. They ought to be shut down. Indefinitely.

Do an internet search on do i have to pay parking ticket from private lot. The downside is if you don't pay and park in one of their lots they may tow you, but sometimes it's cheaper just to get new plates than pay them :-)

More than 3 years ago. I just ignored it & they went away. You just have to be very cautious about parking in Easy Park lots in the future, because if you have any infraction they have grounds to tow you.
