I like to read 1-Star Google reviews of businesses in Vancouver where I've also had bad experiences.

I, too, enjoy reading the reviews before going to a restaurant. And after, as well. However, I am very skeptical of most reviews as they seem skewed to applying great esteem for said restaurant--I assume most are fake. It's time for restaurants and businesses that use Google Maps nefariously to stop!

Not one review mentions the woman looks and dresses like a witch and the guy dresses like "Patches" the clown.

The people that shop there must want to be witches and clowns.

Lmao, you guys are hilarious and always take things too far. The only sabotage going on in this instance is employees who don't want to perform their jobs adequately and owners who want to charge unbelievable price for said crap service.
But yeah, it's all a hoax. Sure, buddy.
These negative cautionary reviews are identical to the one I would leave after visiting any of these establishments. My satisfaction comes in the fact that I wasn't the only victim who won't return.

I decided to order some take out. I called a restaurant, and the owner’s English was terrible. Just terrible. When I explained very clearly what I wanted, that person still could not comprehend what I said. He literally could not understand me. So I decided to give my business elsewhere. How can you operate a business if you’re not proficient in the English language? Surely your customers are more than just people from your own cultural background, right?

Interesting. I have found that most establishments where I can't understand the owner that well offer the best food. This is not a one off. What cracks me up is for example, a Greek restaurant with a Chinese owner and a South Asian cook. lol
