Males versus Females

Feminism versus ... what is going on? There's some sort of imbalance that has been going on. People are starting to see that men are needlessly suffering for the sake of virtues bestowed upon us my academics and government. But at the end of the day, men are not doing so well for the most part. I hope they get the support they need.

It is not...

... a matter of needing "support." The issue is that men are subject to continual demoralization.

Have to disagree with you. Men have traditionally as many if not more opportunities than women but these days I feel have more emotional freedom than back in the day. It's up to men as to whether or not they choose this path of enlightenment.

Men are doing just fine....working for ourselves, banking our pay cheques, making investments and retiring 20-30 years early to go travelling and living in foreign countries. Or, just taking it easy and living a life of leisure with no stress.
I belong to the former group, and know hundreds of guys that fit into both groups.

Funny that you hear about the "male loneliness epidemic" but no one mentions the "female loneliness epidemic"- as all of this is just shaming language trying to get men back into 40 years of indentured servitude.

Feminism didn't free women from the oppression they thought they were under, it freed men from the oppression they didn't know they were under.
And the genie is out of the bottle....

Actually that's a bunch of gas lighting by mainstream media.
One of the Ivy League universities has been doing a study for the last 80 years or so- and since the 1960's men's happiness is at all time highs, and women's happiness at all time lows.

Another example that is trotted out is how women outnumber men in universities- they do, but that doesn't say anything. Men are still 90-95% of STEM, and men are 100% of high paying trades, while women take humanities with maybe nursing.

So men are fine, they adapt to situations very well as they have always done. If you are referring to dating they have figured out that the winning move is to not play the game.

So if men have more opportunities, why is it that around 2/3 of education scholarships are specifically for women? And why is it that based upon health care use, men are the only ones who actually pay taxes?

But you are free to attend trade school, work all day in the boiling sun and freezing rain doing heavy labour, drive trucks, or work in high pressure high stress STEM fields.

Let me guess…you’re a straight white man? From what I’ve witnessed, that’s the group that tends to feel the most sorry for themselves whenever the status quo that’s been giving them the most privileged position of any other group of people in the history of the world, is threatened. I’m sorry that some men are suffering and yes, obviously some are. But come on. If you genuinely think that women in this world have it better than men, you are completely delusional.

@@A matter - you have just proven my statement correct. Men generally overall have more opportunities than women. You haven't even taken into account women risking their careers to care for children. Yes, more men are sharing those responsibilities but the overwhelming sex is male and they don't lose their career 'place in line' by taking parental leave.
