So gross

I had to use a public washroom yesterday designated for everybody which I don't have a problem with. I confess I DO have a problem with people with penises who drop urine on the seat, rim and all over the floor in front of the toilet. I'm sure there are people with vaginas who do the same thing but for the most part I find the offenders are the penis people. Why can't everybody be a little more careful and considerate for others? It's really a matter of cleanliness and biohazards. Honestly.

I just sit down when I pee to avoid this kind of mess, especially at other people's places. Being smart and courteous are the actual hallmarks of manliness.

I've known a couple people who were custodians- before all the mixed use washrooms- who stated unequivocally that the women's washrooms were much worse than the men's.
Plus are large Reddits on this topic for Op to go peruse.

I so agree with you,and let me say( as a custodian) that the men where I work shake their dribbles of pee onto the floor and the majority of them don't wash their hands which completely disgusts me.How can they just walk out after touching their penises and not wash their hands!!!?????? At my work, the women's washroom is never as disgusting as the men's ( I'm just speaking about my work). It appears many have learned nothing the last four years. As Elaine from Seinfeld once said" I don't know how you guys walk around with that thing".

@Ironically - I have been around long enough to know this is true in some instances but not overall comparing one to the other. Just the toilet issue. Face it, public washrooms are risky at the best of times. Went to a downtown McD's a few years back where it was obvious there was a problem with people abusing the facilities. I won't get into demographics but the garbage can had been removed in the ladies washroom. Why? To avoid theft perhaps? I don't know. Likely against health regulations not to have a refuse receptacle but there was a pile of women's used menstrual products in the corner. Grossest thing I'd seen in a long while. Like I said, risky at the best of times but when you gotta' go, you gotta' go!
