Frost Bite

I’m curled up on the couch with a fur blanket, slippers, 2 sweaters and the heat on. Welcome to summer in Vancouver.

Why are we acting like it's gone?

People, why are we acting like it's gone? it is still around, trust me. Yet every time I go out, it seems like less people are wearing masks, probably much less than 20% of us are masking up. And nobody seems to be socially distancing anymore, every time I go to the store or even when I walk my little Dog, it is a constant struggle to keep any distance. When I went to a store yesterday I had 3 different people come at me in complete disregard for my space at the same time. They corner you, one coming at you one way and one coming at you from the other. And none of them were wearing masks. This pandemic is not over. It is still bubbling under, and the disaster taking place south of the border could happen here too if we don' t remain vigilant and disciplined about taking care of ourselves and others. Don't make the sacrifices of the last few months useless. Put your damn mask on.

I know its s not a confession but, I just want to wish everyone a wonderful weekend (yes, even with the rain. I love it). I hope you are all safe, healthy, and well. To all you beautiful humans that feels sad, lonely, etc I want to say hello. When you feel low / sad step outside of your home and go hangout at a park/ bench/ etc and observe your surroundings. Something is bound to make you smile / laugh. It works for me when I need a pick me up. A fellow Vancouverite ❤️

Stay out of wreck beach

Go to Jericho or every other beach to keep your bathing suit on. When you come here fully clothed just to say you're here and look cool or to spectate you ruin the community. You make the nudies the minority. Be a part of it, to help normalize it (in that setting alone of course) or don't bother. Not trying to be rude but the decrease of naked people at wreck has completely changed because yall come in here fully clothed. what was once a totally different world and a very open and easy vibe, is now just another Jericho. The gentrification is truly saddening. When you're naked there its okay, because so is everyone else. And you see all types of bodies and people just being themselves and enjoying the beach without judgement. A lot of people don't feel comfortable doing that now because we're becoming the odd ones out. Be a part of it or go somewhere else, please.

can you imagine?

Very glad most of BC is not too affected by Covid19. For those who feel smug and is making fun of others serving the public with gloves, masks, face shields. Yes, I'm bagging your groceries completely covered up. That's so you can enjoy being healthy and smug. So how about you imagine why people need to suit up before you let your mouth flap open?

Ok, I have a job still. Fortunate yes. Person X lost their job. They never bothered to talk to me while we worked in the same office space. I would pick up the area’s packages and bring them up to people from shipping, just cuz. None of those folks ever returned the favour; just stuck in their cliques and never looked up. So Person X now wants to add me as a LinkedIn connection. To that person: you failed to make any positive impression on me while we physically worked together, and you’re not going to impress me in the digital world either because we’re not even friends. It sucks that you lost your job, but I’d rather help other people, businesses and animals over you.

White Privilege

George Floyd was killed over an alleged counterfeit $20 bill. I once gave a $20 bill to a store and they gave it back and told me they thought it was fake. We both had a good chuckle. I went on with my day and he as well. I never realized that white privilege is what saved me.

I've been spending a lot of time naked in my apartment during the Covid-19 self isolation..But the only time I feel naked is when my neighbour can see me from her balcony..She can see into my living room and then I feel deliciously naked...Are people really naked if no one sees them ?

Getting even

He doesn't know I'm collecting every message. I'm looking at every email, digging, searching. I'm quietly plotting my revenge, letting him think he's winning me over but really collecting enough to get him in trouble. I never loved him, I just wanted to kill boredom but he went too far and led me on then hurt me somehow. I will enjoy the look on his face when he realizes I've been setting him up. He's going to wish he never met me when I'm finished with him. This is going to be so awesome. That's what he gets for pretending to show interest and then hurting me over things I can't help having and being. Pretending to care, saying he's sorry. Yeah, right. Nope, just sitting quietly, collecting evidence to trap him and ruin him. He will pay dearly. He has no idea, hahaha.

Charged at like a rhino

I cannot understand the mentality of someone who would "charge" a disabled person, just like a rhino. Commercial Drive, around 2.30 this afternoon. Three young women totally blocking the sidewalk while walking. I have a huge leg brace and walk with a cane. You looked straight through me and bashed into my left arm. Never mind social distancing, have some common sense. If you had injured me or knocked me down, you better believe I WOULD have called the police and sued you. I wish I could say this has never happened to me or my disabled friends before, but it is distressingly common. If a person is distracted or on their phone, that's bad enough, but to do it deliberately is sociopathic.

Savage Love: Does coming-out dread inform kinks later in life?

I have a question. I’m a gay man in a relationship and we’re both really happy since we met a year ago.
