There are few things we love more than beer, except maybe a festival celebrating beer—especially if it takes place outdoors in the sunshine and to the sound of live music.

For the first year ever, the folks who brought us the Whistler Village and Great Okanagan beer festivals have taken their party spirit on the road to bring us the Clover Valley Beer Festival presented by The Property Twins (CVBF).

“We want to keep celebrating and showcasing craft beer so that’s what inspired us to expand and add a third festival. We were just looking for the right spot to do it in,” says Tara Myers, partnerships and events manager.

The festival takes place on Saturday, August 11, at the legendary Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre. And organizers look forward to a day of good vibes, sunshine, and, of course, beer.

“For the locals who haven’t experienced any of our other festivals before, they can expect over 40 craft breweries and cider mills, live rock music, food trucks,  as well as lots of interactive areas and activities to keep them entertained throughout the day.”

And even for those who aren’t beer fans, Myers says that everyone can get involved in the fun since there will be lots of great ciders to try.

Attendees can also feel good in knowing that Gibbons has joined forces with Twins Cancer Fundraising. Partial proceeds from all ticket sales are going to support this worthwhile cause. Tickets (general admission or express passes), which include beer tokens and a CVBF sampling mug, are available online now. 

“We’re expecting a fun day in the sun at a really cool outdoor venue where people can chill, enjoy, and find their new favourite craft beer for the summer,” adds Myers.
