Set against the backdrop of the northernmost tip of the Cascade Mountain Range, Element Music Festival returns to Snug Lake Amphitheatre on July 26 to 29.

Following the success of last year’s event, organizers are excited to announce the biggest lineup to date, which includes performances by Lotus, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Spafford, Particle, Genetics, Yak Attack, McTuff, GD/BC, the Unfaithful Servants, Baked Potato, and Naryan Padmanabha, along with artists-at-large Jen Hartswick (Trey Anastasio Band), Natalie Cressman (Trey Anastasio Band), and Jason Hann (the String Cheese Incident).

In addition to four days of amazing live music, attendees can also enjoy lakeside yoga every morning, freshwater fishing, an art gallery showcasing some of B.C.’s finest artists, candle and incense-making workshops, a kid’s zone with face painters, a collection of interactive art installations, as well as a vending village filled with food trucks, clothing, and craft vendors.

Best of all, it’s just 3.5 hours east of Vancouver—about the same amount of time it takes to drive to Seattle, minus all those border hassles.

Festivalgoers are encouraged to take advantage of the stunning valley setting and the endless surrounding trails for hiking and mountain biking.

The purpose-built amphitheatre is located just 40 kilometres north of Princeton, nestled in the highlands of the Okanagan-Similkameen. It was founded by Robert Christy, along with Keith Duggan, Bruce Macaulay, and Justin Picard, out of a passion for music. With Element, they hope to have created an unforgettable experience for its guests in the vein of vintage jam festivals.
