One of the most anticipated new productions of the year - Electric Company, Carmen Aguirre and rapper Shad Kabango have created a vitally relevant, spellbinding production complete with Latin Rhythm, rapping, and classic 1970's music. A compelling story about a refugee family on a journey in a convertible through North America, headed back to the country they were expelled from - the play takes you from 1979 Vancouver to the 2020 Donald Trump Border Wall, spotlighting the harsh realities of borders as people attempt to cross, guard, or survive them. Hilarious and deeply poignant - this is the largest Latinx theatre world premiere in history!
You and a guest will rub elbows with Shad and Carmen Aguirre at the world premiere of this exciting and innovative new play. See the show, stay for the reception, meet the artists, dance to hip hop, Latin rhythms and 1970's disco vibes.
