The 23rd Annual Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival (VIMFF) is back from February 21- March 1, 2020. On Feb 28, world renowned adventure athlete Erik Weihenmayer presents his award winning film The Weight of Water. Erik is one of the most celebrated and accomplished athletes in the world. In 2001, he became the first blind person in history to climb Mount Everest and all of the Seven Summits - the tallest peak on each of the seven continents. Erik continually seeks out new adventures, focusing on empowering people traditionally swept to the sidelines of life. He founded No Barriers, which helps people with challenges tap into the human spirit, break through barriers, and contribute to the world.
