The 18th Annual Talking Stick Festival runs February 19 to March 2, 2019 at various Vancouver venues. This year's festival features Corey Payette's musical, Children of God, music headliners Snotty Nose Rez Kids and Emily Wurramara, and the Reel Reservations film series showcasing the talents of Tantoo Cardinal, Darlene Naponse, and the Haida-language drama Edge of the Knife. Special events include the popular Opening Gala, a late night music series hosted across local venues, and Indian Acts play readings from playwrights such as Tai Amy Grauman, Taran Kootenhayoo, and Governor General's Award-Winner Kevin Loring.
