Win tickets to Vancouver Cantata Singers Cantus Missae: Rheinberger and the Romantics

Hear German Romantic choral music at its best presented by the Vancouver Cantata Singers. Josef Rheinberger’s most famous choral piece, Cantus Missae, was written for double choir with a unique influence of renaissance polyphony and romantic harmony. As a prolific composer, Rheinberger was remarkable for his power of invention, masterful technique, and a noble, solid style. Johannes Brahms and Anton Bruckner also wrote several a cappella choral works which feature the rich harmonic beauty of the 19th century.
