COVID-19 in B.C.: Almost 400 new cases and almost 3,300 active cases; no new deaths; and more

    1 of 1 2 of 1

Today, case counts continued to increase in all categories—new, active, and hospitalized cases—and in all health regions. Interior Health, with its outbreak in the Central Okanagan, remains a hotspot.

The good news, however, is that, after a weekend with five deaths, there weren’t any new deaths over the past 24 hours and there also aren’t any new outbreaks.

A total of 148,215 people who tested positive have now recovered, which includes 149 recoveries since yesterday.
