COVID-19 in B.C.: 25 schools with new exposure dates

      Although the number of schools with new exposure dates was lower today than the past two days, Fraser Health remained the region with the most schools once again and Surrey had the most schools with exposures.

      Four regional health authorities added new exposure dates to a total of 25 schools.

      Island Health was the only region that didn’t add any new dates to schools.

      Northern Health listed North Peace Secondary School (9304 86th Street) in Fort St. John—which previously had exposures on November 10, 12, 13, and 16—with a new exposure on November 19.

      Interior Health had two schools in Kelowna with new dates:

      • Quigley Elementary School (705 Kitch Road) had exposures from November 17 to 19;
      • Constable Neil Bruce Middle School (2010 Daimler Road) in West Kelowna, which previously had an exposure incident on November 2, had a new exposure event from November 18 to 20.

      Vancouver Coastal Health added new dates for four schools in Vancouver:

      • Emily Carr Elementary School (4070 Oak Street) had an exposure on November 20;
      • Britannia Elementary School (1110 Cotton Drive) had an exposure on November 23;
      • Gladstone Secondary (4105 Gladstone Street)—which previously had exposures from September 16 to 18, and from September 21 to 22—added November 18 to 20;
      • King David Secondary School (5718 Willow Street), which previously had an exposure on November 16, added November 20.

      Fraser Health

      Fraser Health had 18 schools with new exposure dates.

      In Coquitlam, two schools had new dates:

      • Our Lady of Fatima (315 Walker Street) had an exposure on November 19;
      • Summit Middle School (1450 Parkway Boulevard)—which had previous exposures from October 13 to 14, and from November 16 to 17—added November 20.

      In Chilliwack, three schools had new dates:

      • G.W. Graham Secondary (45955 Thomas Road)—which previously had exposures on October 23 and from October 26 to 29; and from November 16 to 18—added November 13;
      • Chilliwack Secondary (46363 Yale Road)—which previously had exposure events from September 22 to 24; from October 26 to 29; from November 3 to 5; and from November 12 to 13—added November 17;
      • Unity Christian (50950 Hack Brown Road)—which had previous exposures on October 20 to 22 and from October 26 to 29—added November 20.
      Hellings Elementary

      In Delta, Hellings Elementary (11655 86th Avenue) had an exposure on November 19.

      In Mission, Mission Central Elementary (7466 Welton Street) had an exposure on November 16.

      In Surrey, there were 11 schools with new dates:

      • Green Timbers Elementary (8824 144th Street)—which previously had exposure events on September 29; from November 9 to 10; and from November 16 to 18—added November 19;
      • Hillcrest Elementary (18599 65th Avenue), which previously had an exposure from November 17 and 18, added November 16 and 19;
      • J.T. Brown Elementary (12530 60th Avenue), which previously had an exposure on November 19, added November 21;
      • Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary (6151 180th Street)—which previously had exposures from September 14 to 15; on November 10 and 12; from November 16 to 17; and from November 18 to 19—added November 23 to 24;
      • Newton Elementary (13359 81st Avenue)—which previously had exposures from October 27 to 29; on November 1; and on November 5 and 10—added November 16 and 23;
      • École Panorama Ridge Secondary (13220 64th Avenue)—which previously had exposures on September 8 and 10; from September 30 to October 1; from October 6 to 9 and 13 to 15; from October 19 to 20; on November 3, 4, and 5on November 16; and from November 17 to 19—added November 20;
      • Princess Margaret Secondary (12870 72nd Avenue)—which previously had exposures on September 11; on October 12, 15, and 16; on October 26 and 29; from November 2 to 5; on November 6; on November 13; and from November 16 to 17—added November 18 to 19;
      • Queen Elizabeth Secondary School (9457 King George Boulevard)—which previously had exposures on September 14; from October 14 to 16; from October 19, 21, and 22; from October 29 to 30; from November 3 to 5; on November 6, 9, 10; and on November 12, 13, and 16—added November 18 to 20;
      • Tamanawis Secondary School (12600 66th Avenue)—which previously had incidents on September 17 and 30; October 2 and 6; from October 13 to 16; on October 19from October 26 to 28; from November 3 to 5; and on November 12, 13, 16, and 17—added November 19 to 20;
      • W.E. Kinvig Elementary (13266 70b Avenue)—which previously had exposures on October 6 to 9, and from October 14 to 16—added November 19;
      • Pacific Academy (10238 168th Street)—which had previous exposures on November 9; and from November 12 to 13 and 17 to 19—added November 20.
