Dr. Bonnie Henry's new book—Be Kind, Be Calm, Be Safe—will be released in March
Earlier this year, we at the Georgia Straight dubbed Dr. Bonnie Henry as B.C.'s Great Communicator.
And early next year, the provincial health officer will demonstrate those communications skills again in a new book cowritten with her sister Lynn Henry.
On March 9, Penguin Random House will release Be Kind, Be Calm, Be Safe: Four Weeks That Shaped a Pandemic.
Lynn Henry is publishing director of Knopf Canada, which is part of Penguin Random House Canada.
The title is derived from Dr. Henry's tag line at her daily media briefings on COVID-19. Her last book was Soap and Water & Common Sense: The Definitive Guide to Viruses, Bacteria, Parasites, and Disease.
