Premier John Horgan tests positive for COVID-19

      Premier John Horgan is receiving many goodwill wishes today after revealing that he has COVID-19.

      "Fortunately, my symptoms are mild and that is thanks to being fully vaccinated," Horgan tweeted.

      "I'm following public health guidance, isolating and working from home until my symptoms resolve."

      Prime Minister Justin Trudeah, himself a COVID-19 survivor, encouraged the premier to get well soon.

      Horgan recently experienced 35 radiation treatments after being diagnosed late last year with throat cancer.
