Lori Goldberg - Painter

1000 Parker Street - Studio #228

Lori Goldberg’s painting practise spans over a 30-year period and known for her experimental painting, from abstracted industrial and West Coast environments to her more contemplative still life works of everyday objects.

Her recent large abstractions explore the narrative between ourselves and our present concerns with plastics and other non-renewable materials that are piling up, hidden away out of site.  Finding the ephemeral beauty within these forgotten broken objects, Goldberg reminds us that what we discard never truly disappears.

Goldberg’s paintings have received multiple awards and grants.  She was born in Vancouver, where she currently lives, works, and teaches.

Open for in-person preview weekend by appointment Nov 12 -14.
