Science World has announced its restart plans as B.C. enters the third stage of reopening after COVID-19 restrictions.

“It’s clear based on the data that the Province’s immunization roll out is helping to keep case numbers down," Science World president and CEO Tracy Redies sayd in a press release, "so we are thrilled to offer our visitors more options and excitement during their visit to the dome. We will proceed with caution, ensuring that we protect our staff and vulnerable populations as we adapt our plan for phase 3 of B.C.’s Restart Plan."

The venue's feature exhibition, Arctic Voices, will continue until September 6, with regular online family events including the Arctic Voices Speaker Series. The next Speakers event, Birds of the North with Parks Canada, takes place July 15 at 4 p.m.

The next Girls and STEAM event takes place on July 24 and will showcase video-game careers, with an opportunity to meet women who have been successful in the industry and participants with similar aspirations.

Science World will remain open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Timed entry is still strongly recommended, and walk-ins are subject to availability.
