After some major behind-the-scenes scrambling and working out of logistics, the Clash Royale League West spring season is back on track.

Competition will start on May 23, with action taking place on Saturdays and Sundays at 10 am PST.

Finnish game developer Supercell was caught off-guard in March when CRL partner OGN America decided to back out in a move that was called “very last minute”. That, of course, was when the COVID-19 pandemic began to spread across the globe.

At the time, Supercell announced: “Our 2019 esports partner, OGN America, will no longer be producing CRL West content; they’ve recently informed us of their decision to withdraw from producing CRL West, as they’re refocusing their business strategy.”

Today’s announcement about the spring season was made on Twitter, with no mention of a new partner or prizes, or whether it will be played—as is widely assumed—online.
