On October 28 and 29 industry leaders in the cannabis field will be taking part in the virtual Growth From Home conference, which will bring together a diverse group of startup founders, investors, entertainers, corporate executives, government policymakers, media professionals, and world-renowned researchers.

The event will cover topics impacting the future of the global cannabis industry, as well as "its evolution in the mainstream consciousness."

"We were reluctant about the first ‘Growth’ being digital," reads a statement on the conference website, "but we figured out a way to make it DOPE! Growth from Home will be a truly unique digital experience that combines content with algorithmically driven networking recommendations. The event will feature live webinars, digital fireside chats, educational videos, entertainment, and curated networking all from wherever you want to be!"

Speakers at the online event will include Chante Harris, business strategist from New York City's Capalino+Company, who will talk about preparing New York for legalization and cannabis’s role in economic recovery.

Also on hand will be Kate Miller, cofounder and CEO of Miss Grass, who will speak on the company’s role in working towards diversity in the industry, cannabis’ essential designation, and what the future holds for the brand.
