Glowbal Restaurant Group recently relaunched one of their most popular dining establishments in the downtown Vancouver core.

Italian Kitchen has relocated to 860 Burrard Street (which was once occupied by the now shuttered Francesco’s Ristorante Italia), directly across from Sutton Place Hotel.

The 140-seat space features Tuscan-style décor with plenty of brick walls, greenery, and plush upholstery.

It offers a main dining area, semi-private, and private dining space, as well as a year-round heated outdoor patio.

Plenty of pasta dishes are on the menu.

Guests will find menu items such as shared pasta platter, truffle spaghetti and meatballs, and marinated sablefish (smoked pancetta, bean ragout, cauliflower and lemon purée), among others.

Besides its selection of libations at the bar, Italian Kitchen also has a wine cellar that features Italian vintage wines and a classically inspired cocktail list.

"With the opportunity of relocation, we also decided to do some rebranding. I wanted to hold onto our old Italian charm, which we love and honour so much,” said Emad Yacoub, proprietor of Glowbal Restaurant Group, in a press statement. “We are happy to be opening our doors to such a great location with a beautiful courtyard, just a mere two blocks from our old home, so we can welcome our existing guests in addition to creating new ones in this downtown neighbourhood."
