Patrons who frequented California-style burger chain Caliburger (830 Thurlow Street) will be disappointed to know that it has closed its downtown Vancouver eatery for good.

According to a post on Facebook, the fast-food establishment shuttered its 2,200-square-foot location on Saturday (December 9).

This U.S. import first opened in Vancouver in June 2016.

But don’t fret if you still have cravings for the menu items from this burger joint—it will be opening up at Simon Fraser University (8901 Cornerstone Mews) in January and near Guildford Town Centre (10330 152nd Street, Surrey) in the winter.

Caliburger is known for its likeliness to In-N-Out Burger (another popular fast-food chain from California), and serves similar items to the latter such as juicy burgers and fries topped with a signature sauce, melted cheese, and grilled sweet onions.
