Holt Renfrew unveiled Holts Café in Vancouver a little more than a year ago, but we won’t be seeing it for much longer.

The luxury retailer announced a national culinary partnership with Chase Hospitality Group (CHG) this morning, and a plan to replace Holts Café with Toronto’s French-inspired eatery Colette Grand Café at five of its retail spots: Vancouver, Edmonton, Montreal, and Toronto’s Yorkdale and Bloor Street locations.

Complementing its future home inside the high-end purveyor, the upscale eatery will feature chic décor and French-style dishes.

Some of the menu items listed on Colette’s website include moules frites (Salt Spring Island mussels with white wine), French onion soup, croque monsieur (baked ham-and-cheese sandwich), omelettes, and crème brulée.

“Colette Grand Café embodies the French-style and is the perfect fit for Holt Renfrew to offer clientele the full luxury experience,” said Mario Grauso, president of Holt Renfrew, in a press statement. “Well known for culinary excellence and creating beautifully designed spaces, we are excited to have Chase Hospitality Group restaurants as a valued partner.”

Colette Grand Café is scheduled to make its debut in downtown Vancouver in 2018.
