McDonald’s can now be delivered straight to your door.

Food-delivery service UberEats and McDonald’s Canada have launched McDelivery at 11 locations in Vancouver, which means some people can order menu items like Chicken McNuggets and Big Macs without leaving their home or office.

With the exception of soft-serve ice cream cones, the full menu at participating McDonald’s restaurants will be available for McDelivery.

"McDelivery is another exciting and important step in our guest experience evolution, enabling greater convenience and choice to our guests in enjoying their McDonald’s favourites," said Andy Bates, local McDonald’s franchisee, in a press statement. "The service is easy to use and fast, and the early feedback shows our guests love this new experience!”

UberEats app users won’t be paying a premium on the fast-food chain’s famous fries or burgers, but a delivery fee will be added to each order.

Don’t get excited too quickly about using coupons, mobile, or promotional offers with this service—they are excluded from delivery.

McDelivery with UberEats is available in more than 340 restaurants across Canada, including Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, and Toronto, among others.

The food-delivery app first entered the Vancouver market in December 2017, partnering with over 130 restaurants around town.

Meanwhile, ride-hailing apps like Uber and Lyft are still not available in B.C. All-part committee hearings have been taking place to hear arguments from Uber and Vancouver’s taxi industry for and against ride-hailing services.
