Vegan and plant-based foods have been popular culinary choices around Vancouver, and this food trend is only gaining more traction in the city.

The Main Affair at Heritage Hall (3102 Main Street) is an upcoming dining event (February 9, 2018) that will feature a variety of vegan foods, including dairy-free artisan cheeses, gluten-free vegan dumplings, free-flowing vegan-friendly cocktails, bottomless kombucha, unlimited craft beer, and more.

Some of the participating vendors include Blue Heron Creamery, Glow Chocolates, House of Yee Fine Foods, Say Hello Sweets, Tempea Tempeh, and Andina Brewing Company, among others.

Tickets ($85 per person, plus applicable fees) can be purchased online, with two available seatings: 6 to 8 p.m. and 9 to 11 p.m.

Proceeds from this event will go toward the Society for the Advancement of Musicians—a not-for-profit organization that provides local B.C.-based musicians access to recording and rehearsal spaces, tour booking resources, video production, mentorship, and career guidance.
