From February 1 to 28, the local hospitality venue’s pubs and restaurants around the Lower Mainland will be pouting a limited-edition kölsch from Postmark and $1 from the sale of every glass will be donated to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
The first beer of its kind to be produced by Postmark, the Postmark Kölsch is a German-style “lagered ale” that’s clean and slightly hoppy on the palate. Proceeds from the drink will be donated to the GVFB on behalf of Donnelly Group’s in-house foundation, the Donnelly Fund.
The Donnelly Group operates 13 restaurants and pubs in Vancouver, including the Lamplighter (92 Water Street), the Bimini (2010 West 4th Avenue), and the Railway Stage & Beer Café (579 Dunsmuir Street). Last year, the company also worked with Postmark to serve its Mosaic Hop IPA for the Fe-BREW-ary event.
