Wine for Waves takes place at tonight (April 13), giving Vancouverites a chance to get out of the rain and into an evening of wining and dining to raise funds for the Ocean Wise Seafood Program.

Overfishing is one of the biggest threats to the world’s seas. The Ocean Wise symbol next to a seafood item on a menu is an assurance of an ocean-friendly choice.

Wondering what, specifically, W for W guests will sip and savour? Here’s a peek.

      Menu items include:

Fanny Bay Oyster Bar – Oysters on the half shell with mignonette

Hart House Restaurant – Albacore tuna tataki with smoked avocado, marinated cucumber, lotus root chip, spicy mayo, and shiso

Hillside Winery & Bistro – Brown butter and foie tartelette with rhubarb and celery
