Vegan-friendly Wallflower diner on Vancouver’s Main Street listed for sale

      Wallflower Modern Diner in Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant is up for sale at $249,000.

      Based on a listing on the Restaurant Business Broker site, the 1,600-square-foot diner comes with a 55-seat liquor licence.

      According to the listing, the restaurant generated revenues totalling $1.4 million last year.

      “Surrounded by new and established residential it is a great opportunity for a walk in, new or experienced operator,” the listing noted.

      Wallflower Modern Diner opened in 2009. The spot used to be the Aurora Bistro.

      The diner prides itself as a place where meat lovers, vegetarians, vegans, and people on gluten-free diets can dine together in comfort.

      The Restaurant Business Broker listing also stated that the diner has an affordable lease with three years remaining, and an option to renew for five years.

      The diner comes with a chef’s kitchen.

      Wallflower Modern Diner is located at 2420 Main Street between East 8th Avenue and East Broadway.
