More than 50 food trucks will be featured at the Richmond World Festival
The Richmond World Fest kicks off this afternoon at Minoru Park and Richmond Cultural Centre Plaza (7191 Granville Avenue, Richmond), and one of the biggest draws at this free and family-friendly festival are its food offerings.
Running today (August 31) from 4 to 10 p.m., and tomorrow (September 1) from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., attendees will be treated to musical performances, sport and art activities, and plenty of mouthwatering culinary creations.
Besides the cooking demonstrations led by top chefs on the culinary stage, more than 50 food trucks will be parked at the event—all of them ready to serve up tasty items to hungry festival-goers.
From Amsterdam street food to First Nations-inspired grub to Mexican snacks, it’s safe to say that you’ll get to taste flavours from around the world at this annual celebration.
Some of the featured dishes include classic poutines, Brazilian crepes, Korean-style tacos, hurricane potatoes, Japadogs, Jamaican wraps, bannock burgers, mac-n-cheese, pad Thai, mini doughnuts, grilled cheese sandwiches, and much more.
