Colony is crossing the bridge: After opening Colony Kitsilano and Colony Mainstreet, Blueprint has opened its third Colony location in North Vancouver.
“We are very excited to open Colony Northwoods,” Blueprint principal Bill Kerasiotis said in a release. “We feel we have created a unique space for the North Shore community to refuel after a long hike or bike ride, catch the big game, enjoy a great casual meal and connect with friends and family. We are honoured to be serving North Vancouver, can't wait to share the Colony brand and look forward to welcoming locals and visitors for years to come."
The 4,000-square-foot venue, which has natural wood finishings and chalet-style furnishings, offers sports programming and live entertainment. It seats up to 130 guests inside and another 130 on an all-season patio.
There will be 20 rotating taps, many featuring B.C craft breweries, executive chef Karen Lyons created the menu, which is described as laidback with a focus on local ingredients for the “health-conscious West Coast palate”.
Dishes include a Nashville hot-chicken sandwich, black-bean-and-brown-rice veggie burger, flatbreads, dry-fried squid, crispy fish tacos, ribs, fajitas, pot stickers, poutine, and more.
Colony Northwoods is open Monday to Friday from 11:30 a.m. to midnight and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to midnight.
