All 25 restaurants participating in Taste of Yaletown 2018
The 14th annual Taste of Yaletown food event returns to the city later this month (October 18 to 28), and you can consider it a miniature version of the popular Dine Out Vancouver festival that takes place in the winter.
Presented by the Yaletown Business Improvement Association, the community festival will feature culinary deals offered by restaurants in the trendy neighbourhood.
Special menus priced at $25, $35, and $45 will be available, with the option to add wine pairings to your meals for an additional cost.
Returning restaurants include Brix and Mortar, the Keg Steakhouse and Bar, WildTale Coastal Grill. New participants will also be joining, such as Milssam Tacorea, which serves up Korean-Mexican fusion food.
“Taste of Yaletown is a longstanding community event, connecting people over exquisite culinary dishes,” said Annette O’Shea, executive director of the Yaletown Business Improvement Association, in a press statement. “This year is all about making connections and showing how food brings people together, whether as couples, friends or family. The event showcases our local chef’s talents and allows the community to come out and experience some of Vancouver’s top restaurants and immerse themselves in their unique experiences.”
The food festival gives back to the community every year, and this year is no different—Taste of Yaletown will be donating to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. The event has raised more than $115,000 for the local community since it began in 2004.
