If you’re planning to dress up as a character from the Harry Potter universe for Halloween this year, you may want to save that outfit for a highly anticipated food event that’s coming to the city.

An immersive dining experience known as the Wizard’s Brunch was put onto our radars at the beginning of this year, and its organizers have finally revealed more details—including the addition of a dinner seating.

The magical meals will take place at the Vancouver Convention Centre West building (1055 Canada Place) on February 9 and 10, 2019. Brunch (12:30 to 3:30 p.m.) will be family-friendly and open to guests of all ages, while dinner (7:30 to 10:30 p.m.) will be strictly reserved for guests above the age of 18.

According to the event’s website, guests will be transported to a fantastic wizarding world where they will enjoy a three-course feast and fine wizard liquids on long tables (we’re looking forward to seeing Butterbeer on the menu).

Wizards, witches, and Muggles will also get to take part in potion lessons, witness some magic (perhaps some classic wizard duelling), and other enchanting entertainment.

Although robes and wands aren’t required for entry, we have a feeling that most attendees will be sporting their best wizarding outfits—likely with impressive hats and scarves in tow.

Tickets ($185 to $215 per person, plus taxes and fees) will cost you a pretty penny (or shiny galleons in this case); they are available in limited quantities and can be purchased online.
