Tickets to Science of Cocktails, Science World’s biggest—and booziest—annual fundraiser, are now on sale. And if past years’ editions are any indication, we have a strong inkling that they won’t be available for long.

Taking place on February 7, 2019 at Science World, the event will feature more than 25 of the city’s best bartenders mixing up original cocktails that use crafty techniques like nitro-muddling, fat emulsification, and smoking to illustrate the inherent relationship between mixology and science. The libations will be served alongside complementary canapes from local chefs.

Drinks and food are unlimited (!), and there are also interactive science activities and hands-on demos to keep attendees busy. Throw in the fact that 100 percent of ticket proceeds go toward Science World’s Class Field Trip Bursary Program, which gives kids from underserved schools the opportunity to visit the museum during the school year, and are you really surprised that Science of Cocktails consistently sells out?

General tickets are $159 online with a charitable tax receipt of $50. VIP tickets are $289 and group rates are also available.

This year’s Science of Cocktails raised more than $275,000 for Science World’s Class Field Trip Bursary Program. Since launching in 2016, the soiree has collected a whopping $666,000 for the initiative.
