5 food and drink events to check out at Whistler's Cornucopia 2018

      There are more than 100 events taking place at this year's Cornucopia—Whistler's annual gourmet food and drink extravaganza—and it can feel a little overwhelming when you scroll through its online schedule.

      So how do you choose which ones to attend?

      The offerings range from gourmet meals to informative wine seminars, and from large-scale tastings to late-night parties. We’ve curated a shortlist of some unique events to check out at the festival, which can cater to foodies and libation-lovers.  

      Here are five exciting happenings at this year’s Cornucopia.

      1. Bubbles and Brunch

      Indulge in carved meats, fresh seafood, Belgian waffles, and desserts with a glass of bubbles at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler on November 11.

      2. Chef Table Luncheon: Edible Canada

      One of the chefs from a popular Vancouver dining establishment will be creating delicious Canadian plates at a private Whistler home on November 11.

      3. Rooftop Rendezvous at Pangea

      Enjoy some cocktails and small bites on the rooftop at Whistler’s newest boutique pod hotel on November 15.

      4. Night Market: Taste of the World

      Sip and savour various wines, beers, and liquors paired with street-food eats at the Whistler Conference Centre Sea to Sky Ballroom on November 16.

      An inaugural Cornucopia signature party event that features art, entertainment, food, and drink at the Audain Art Museum on November 17.
